A coffee shop is full of beans as it gets set for a \u00a350,000 refurbishment – which could create two more jobs.<\/p>\n
Costa at the ODEON cinema in Eagles Meadow shopping centre in Wrexham is going to be modernising its d\u00e9cor, replacing its furniture and expanding its capacity as a “thank you” to its customers.<\/p>\n
ODEON Wrexham assistant manager Kenny Kempster said: \u201cCosta has changed the design and the layout of how their stores look, with a new, more modern design. There will be more soft seating areas, with the inclusion of sofas, so people can enjoy a relaxing experience.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe\u2019re also extending the store to increase the amount of seating overall, taking over some of the cinema foyer area which will accommodate a further 30-40 seats in total, meaning that we can cater for more people \u2013 especially over the peak periods when Eagles Meadow is at its busiest.<\/p>\n
\u201cCosta performs very well for us as a business but also our guests enjoy the Costa experience and it\u2019s great that we can make further improvements to their environment.\u201d<\/p>\n
Costa assistant manager Joanne Jubb added: \u201cThere is going to be new art work, and we\u2019re going to get a big plant feature as well as the appointment of two new staff members.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s very exciting, not for just ourselves but for our guests as well, and they\u2019re already asking us about it. It\u2019s a big vote of confidence in Costa, ODEON and in Wrexham.\u201d<\/p>\n
Eagles Meadow Manager Kevin Critchley added: “I am delighted that Costa is doing so well and I’m looking forward to enjoying a latte or two in the new-look coffee shop.”<\/p>\n
