Young people from a Llandudno special school have enjoyed a day of cricket, lovely cricket at the town’s famous Oval.

Talented youngsters from two North Wales counties banged the drum for music at a gala concert. North Music Cooperative, which runs two sister organisations in Denbighshire and Wrexham, staged the show at the prestigious William Aston Hall on the Wrexham Glyndwr University campus in Mold Road.

A choir from the Philippines struck gold at a major international music festival. The Kammerchor Manila clinched the prestigious Pavarotti Trophy in the Choir of the World competition at Llangollen International Musical Eisteddfod.

A rising star in the food industry has been given a big break by a top bakery. Maia Larks, 19, has won a £3,000 bursary and a 12-month placement with the fast growing Jones Village Bakery in Wrexham.
