An array of “world class, world beating” produce attracted thousands of people to a food festival. Food lovers from across the UK made a bee line for the Hamper Llangollen 2012 which was described as one of the best ever.

Thousands of food lovers are preparing to make a bee line for a picturesque North Wales town. They will be heading for Llangollen – where Wales meets the world – when it becomes the culinary capital of the UK for one weekend.

A love of home cooking has given two Hungarian friends a tasty new business venture. A Little Taste of Hungary will roll into Hamper 2012 the Llangollen Food Festival on October 20 and 21.

Turning to goat’s milk for medical reasons has proved a business winner for Carol Allen. With her goats producing far too much milk for her family to eat and drink, Carol set up Llanvalley Natural Products and started making pure hand-made soaps, boasting only natural ingredients from Wales, selling on-line and at farmers markets.
